2nd Church Stretton Guides Where are we?
Church Stretton is a small town about half way between Ludlow and Shrewsbury.
There are quite a few of us who meet together every Monday, enjoy a giggle, natter and organize exciting activities.


Baden Powell Challenge
A group of older girls wanted something different to work towards, so together they came up with the idea of the Baden Powell Challenge.
Ana, one of our guiders, has coordinated their challenges and they are now just about ready to undertake the "Challenge weekend".

Emma reckons:
"This challenge gives you lots of opportunities to do things you wouldn't normally do"

Over the half term break, the girls arranged to spend a weekend at Broneirion, the Welsh guide house.
They decided on the menu and experimented with cooking on portable cookers when they walked towards the source of the River Severn. (Which we didn't manage - it was further than we'd allowed time for!!)
